Real Acne Facts !!

Around 5 people in my year had acne. And there was 80 people in the year. This equates to a percentage of 8/100 people have acne. When you combine the 10 that had it in the lower years of school it rises to 18/100. 20% is a good indication of how many people actually develop acne. There are a lot of stats around that say up to 90% of people develop acne, i tend to think its around the 20%. Also people with one whitehead are technically classified as having acne which is incorrect. The mild acne classification should become more throughough, as acne figures seem inaccurate to the modern age.

Acne Looks Better in the Sun

If your acne does not involve many whiteheads than it will most likely look better when in the sun. For acne consisting of majority blackheads and red scars, the sun can drastically improve ones appearance, to a point where the acne is non recognizable. For acne conditions involving a lot of whiteheads, the sun can worsen such an appearance. Some good tips to beating acne are, eat healthy, exercise often, wash your face and shower often, sleep long hours, avoid stressing. These simple factors, when achieved as a group can drastically minimize the appearance of acne and possibly cure it after a long period of time.

Toothpaste Clears Acne !!

Toothpaste has been known as a quick pimple solution. It may have a positive impact on one or two pimples, as the toxins dry out the skin. But it is not a cure for anthing more than mild acne. Toothpaste should be applied to a single pimple, but if your skin has a lot more than one pimple, or if you have had more than mild acne, you should not apply toothpaste to the skin. It will most likely cause an irritation and possible aggravation to acne. So toothpaste should be used by those with very mild acne, it is a quick acne solution because it dries up the pimple and heals it very quickly.
