Well for a while i was using neutrogena deep clean. Well for 6 months, and as embarassing enough as it was, i have to admit i didn't even know the cleanser was not for acne, specifically. A lot of people in my grade were using it and they had crystal clear skin. I was so angry because in the time of using it my acne had actually got a lot worse. But i sticked with neutrogena because my mum said they were the best, and she was right. My next test was when using neutrogena, oil - free acne wash. This was the best face wash i had ever seen. Even though it dried my face out at the start , it stopped it from getting oily even after i used the face wash multiple times a day. But i got the best results when washing my face with neutrogena oil-free acne wash once a day in the morning and then showering at night before i went to bed. So the best advice is to make sure your face wash is specifically for acne. Because if it is not, it might not even be helping it, potentially making it worse.
